Q: Can I write off my donation?

Yes you can. According to the IRS, donors can deduct contributions they make to URGENT as provided in IRC section 170. URGENT is also qualified to receive tax-deductible bequests, legacies, devises, transfers, or gifts under IRC Sections 2055, 2106, and 2522.

Q: Can I specify where the donation goes to?

By default your donations go towards area of greatest need, but you are always welcome to change it to specifically go towards medical aid, education, or our special needs program.
